Mary Hodge for State Senate

The second session of the 66th General Assembly adjourned sine die at 9:30 p.m. May 6, 2008.  It was a bitter-sweet moment for me, since it was my last sine die in the Colorado House of Representatives.  In fact, I teared up when I was presented with my appreciation plaque and spoke to the House for a final time.  But it also signalled the start of my run for the Colorado State Senate, District 25. 

I am honored to  have served as the Chair of the Local Government Committee and to serve on the Agriculture, Livestock and Natural Resources Committee.  During the interim I served on the Water Resources Legislative Review Committee and on the State and Veterans' Nursing Home Oversight Committee.  I was also appointed to the Arts in Public Places Council for Fitzsimons and to the South Platte River Task Force.
